Future Dreams

When i was a kid my dream was to become a pilot.
I grew a little more and wanted to become a police woman.
When i grew up to become a bigger kid my dream was an artist.
I grew up more and wanted to become a writer.
I grew up more and wanted to become designer.

I finally grew into a teenager and decided what i wanted to do.
I wanted to become a builder,
artist,
writer,
and a
Designer.
I will fly around the world and thats close enough to being a pilot.
I’ll too meet alot of police on the road and i think that will too be close enough.
Im a person that loves to design, draw, write and build.

This is the first work that I’ve read on this site that deserves the title of poem.
The realization of the inept, placid hope of childhood being relived and reworked throughout the ageing/growing process, always building toward ‘The Now’, this is the goal of a writer.

The end left a bit to be desired. It wrapped things up too quickly.
You probably felt this way too.
