My love for you is inscripted in my heart,
I don’t want to lose you and don’t want you to depart–
Many times we laugh, we love and sometimes there’s a fight.
A test of our love’s endurance is what it’s all about.

Our love for each other is akin to a vow,
You are my life, I am your soul.
I am your spirit, you’re in my blood.
You are my lifeline, until I grow old.

A constant reminder every now and again,
Our closeness and fondness are not just illusions,
It’s not an ambition, nor just an imagination,
We love each other forever–and I’m certain–it’s not just a dream.
